COMMUNITY EDUCATION
Indifference, ignorance, and cruelty are at work every day. Our message of spay/neuter, compassion, knowledge, and advocacy must prevail.
If you would like to become involved in helping educate the community in school settings or educating adults at business or group meetings, complete the Volunteer Opportunities above, see how you can help make a difference!
TC Paw Cat Rescue incorporates volunteers into every aspect of our work, and we are always seeking excited, dedicated individuals who are looking to support our mission! Based on your experience level, interests, and availability, we will work with you to find the right role and best fit for volunteering.
Volunteers must be a minimum of 15 years old to apply. (Some exceptions may apply if the parent is able to participate with younger volunteers).
Volunteer opportunities range from assisting with the care of our cattery cats and foster cats to updating essential information in our database to helping with fundraising and events. Some roles can be done from home and have various levels of time commitment.
Whether you’re in a hands-on role taking care of the cats or you’re counseling patrons through the adoption process, you give invaluable support to the volunteers of TC Paw Cat Rescue! We have lots of fun and would like to hear from you.
Though many of our roles involve interaction with the cats in some capacity, we don’t currently offer roles with the sole focus of kitty playtime.

FOSTERING
There is another way, and you can be part of it! Fostering is an opportunity to open your heart, and your home, to a rescued cat until a permanent home, through adoption, can be found. It is a compassionate alternative to euthanizing and a means to reduce animal cruelty and overpopulation.
We are seeking qualified foster homes and provide set-up supplies, vet care, food, and litter while the cat is in your foster home. The foster provides transportation to vet appointments, safety, socialization, observation of behavior, and provides lots of TLC!
Vet care expenses are paid for by TC Paw Cat Rescue. Each cat will receive appropriate vaccinations, and necessary medical intervention, microchip, and be spayed/neutered before adoption.
